I quit social media a couple weeks ago, and God, it feels so good. Yes, still. #noregrets
One of the only things I did like about social media was sharing the silly bits, the daily moments, and sometimes, the interesting or useful stuff, just to start conversation. Spoiler alert: Instagram Stories aren’t the only way to do that, so I’m going to do it here! Plus, if I share even more of myself on my website, I get to actually own it, because no one owns any content on any social media platform. There’s just something too overwhelmingly frustrating and annoying and wrong about that for me.
So, without further ado, here are a few things I would’ve shared on social media this week.
Cat, obviously. Because OMG I will never get enough of that tiny, dramatic paw!
Dog, because, well, look at him. He’s hilarious.
Afternoon walks in Colorado, where the bighorn sheep casually chill with you too.
It’s nice enough to have lunch al fresco, and I’m totally taking advantage. How lovely to be able to enjoy sunshine and fresh air this late in the Fall. Also, I made this delicious honey wheat flatbread, which was actually for Sunday’s virtual communion. Of course, the recipe made way too much, so the leftovers are a really yummy change for my daily turkey sandwich!
Speaking of Fall, I’m one of those people who starts Christmas on November 1. Currently enjoying the heck out of SiriusXM Holiday Channels. Also, FYI, Dolly’s got a new Christmas album this year, if you haven’t checked it out yet! And you saw this too, right?
